Meet Elizabeth
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Opanuga. I graduated from Queen Mary University with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics with Finance. After graduating, I worked as a Statistician for over 10 years whilst tutoring and investing in my knowledge and teaching skills.
I’ve always had an infectious love of Maths and Statistics and a desire to help others understand the fundamentals, which is why I have dedicated myself to spending time helping students reach their educational goals.
Tutoring is my passion, I love seeing the transformation in students when they grow in knowledge and confidence. I get a sense of satisfaction knowing I have played a part in their progression and achievements, which is what keeps me teaching and wanting to be there for my students.
My aim is to help those who either would like to overcome and improve in their weakest areas or boost their grades. I initially ensure students are comfortable with the foundations to remove barriers to learning. I then build on this foundation by helping students understand not just what to do in each subject area but why we do it.
Besides tutoring, I enjoy taking part in athletic events, reading inspiring books, travelling and spending time outdoors with family.
